I am no longer a hockey virgin. :) I got to take in my first Sabres game tonight and it was pretty awesome. Granted that may have something to do with the company I was keeping and the conversation we were having. But it was awesome, anyhow. I hope I get to go to another one sometime. We won tonight... maybe it's because I was there. :D

I guess I'm dating now. Does that sound terrible? Is it too soon for me to be dating? *shrug* I'm defining 'dating' as 'spending time having fun with and getting to know a person you enjoy being around'. We're not serious at the moment. We're not committing our lives to each other or anything. :P There's no boyfriend/girlfriend stuff there right now. We are just two people who happen to be interested in one another, spending time together to explore that interest. Nothing wrong with that. :)

If you do think there's something wrong with that, well... I don't want to hear about it. I'm done trying to make everybody else happy. I'm sick of worrying about stupid stuff. As of today I am going to try to relax, go with the flow a little more, stop trying to please everyone. So, keep your opinions to yourself for now please. When I want them, I will ask. :)

At any rate, I had a totally fun and incredible evening. The Sabres beat the Canadiens 2-1 in overtime, and it was pretty 1337 (as my boyz over in the 100 house might say!). I learned that Ryan Miller (#30) is a really good goalie, Tim Conolly (#18) is really good too (and young!), and during overtime there are only four players per side on the ice (plus goalie)... whereas normally there are five. Maybe sometime I'll go again, and maybe I'll pick up some more stuff. :D But anyway... awesome 'date'. Can't wait to have another!

Job-hunting thoughts would be appreciated. I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow and hopefully I'll find something. :)

God bless us, every one.
