Good day today. Amazing how a simple half-hour at Arby's can really brighten your outlook for the week. :) I feel like I can accomplish all eight million things I need to get done by Friday, and that is a good feeling.
Yesterday was an incredible day too! I got to go to Pizza Hut with Locke and Joe, and I think Joe and I did a good job of making Locke feel good. He is now the uber-1337-est guy in the 100 House, with his Claw. I will have to scan the pics I got. :) Locke, you are awesome and we love ya. ;)
I finished up my roll of film too (yay!) so we ran over to Wal-Mart to develop it (one-hour developing RULES). That was another great half-hour... just sitting in the Lawn and Garden department on a porch swing, talking about life and love. Simple things really can be the most amazing experiences.
So yeah... as of right now, I am feeling good. Today marks the two-week point, too, but I am okay with that. As Pumbaa says, "You gotta put your behind in the past." :D (Oh come on, don't tell me you never saw The Lion King!!!) You gotta put your past behind you. Don't deny it, don't forget it, but don't let it eat away at you either. Two weeks ago, my life was completely different. Two weeks ago I would NEVER have envisioned everything being the way that it is right now... but it is! Isn't that amazing? God is cool. Mysterious, unfathomable, and cool. I can't believe all things I missed out on when I walked away from him. But at the same time, sometimes you have to lose something before you realize just how much you needed it.
I found a quote today that pretty well sums up how I feel at the moment: "The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for." -Allan K. Chalmers
Have a great week, everybody. :)
