In other news, I really need to get this website redone ASAP, as I realized this week that I have my web address on my resume so potential employers might be coming here and the first thing they see is "I been hacked." Yeah there's a good impression. On the plus side I MOSTLY know what I want to do with the darn thing and I don't think it'll be TOO hard... hopefully. :) Just gotta do it!

Also for the new site I'm considering setting up another blog. Well, a new section, powered by Blogger because I'm freaking lazy and Blogger's the easiest way to do things. :P But anyway, I've been pondering making a "Catholic" section for the faith-related stuff when I want to put it down. For some reason it doesn't seem to fit into this old blog anymore. Or maybe it's just that I'd like to sort it out so it will be easier for people to find. Not that anyone wants to find it. But if they ever did, well, then that's where it would be.

It sounds silly, now that I write it down. It sounds a little stuck-up, too. I don't mean it that way. I don't really need to sit here and advertise "Hey world! I'm Catholic!", and yet, maybe I do. It's important that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Old blog posts tend to get lost in the shuffle. I go back and read my own archives sometimes, but seriously, other people probably don't. I don't read the archives of the blogs I read. I read the new posts, and go on with my day. And that's cool. But, I'm gonna grab my faith-related junk and put it in its own section. And if anyone wants to read it they can, and they won't have to bother remembering what month I wrote it. Nor will I. ;)

As a convert, it's been neat for me to read other peoples' conversion stories. Some of them were nothing at all like mine. Some were more similar. All of them are unique, and it's neat, no matter what their story is, to share a little something of it, because the ending is always the same... we always end up in the same place, no matter how we got there. So even if my "Catholic" section is nothing more than my own conversion story, maybe that will help somebody someday.

I'm waxing philosophical now and it's past my bedtime. ;) Another long day of job hunting, er, um, working ahead. :)
