The boredom continues.
Again, I have been playing The Sims. Currently I have my sister married to a man named "Noah S Ark". They live on a farm with an extremely smart cat named Jasper, an incredibly stupid dog named Tucker, and a son named Jeremiah. My parents have a tiny 3-room house with a garden and a dog named Schnapps. And an adopted son named Logan. (I always did want a little brother..) Ryan and I have a gorgeous brick house and a kitty named Felicity. We did have two children, but we sent them to military school. We just aren't ready for kids yet. O:-) And then of course there's the Ennis-Denis family, Molly and Grant, who are on kid number 2 and counting.
I have no idea why this is so much fun. But it amuses me. :-)
What I want to do today is go to the mall. But I have no one to go with. My parents are too lazy. My mom is practicing the piano right now and failing miserably at it. And my second hard drive, the one with all my music on it, appears to have been unplugged, so I can't drown her out. :-P "But you're a computer science major," you say. "Why don't you just plug it back in?" Well other than the fact that I'm a hardware moron, at the moment I'm trying to type this stupid journal entry, so I'm not going to turn my computer off right this second and plug in a hard drive. Maybe later. :-)
Anyhow, what I want to do is go to the mall and exchange my new graphics card for a new mouse. (Since my new graphics card works no better than my old one, worse actually, because it screws up my sound card.) And then go clothes shopping, for some jeans and a scarf and mittens and anything on sale that screams BUY ME. :-) But I don't want to go by myself. If I lived in Rochester or Buffalo I'd have no problems finding someone to go with. But I have to be in Syracuse, which narrows my choices down to high school friends. And of the four people from high school that I still keep in touch with, only two actually come back here during breaks. One of them being Ryan, who is as you know in Texas. Which leaves Molly. Who is spending the weekend at her fiance's grandparents'. Which leaves no one. Unless I drag my parents, who are boring, or my sister, who is always busy because her friends actually DO live around here. Bah.
Maybe I'll just go by myself. Unless... Jeffy, if you read this... wanna go to the mall? :-)
