Joe would like me to mention that my new computer (for which he did all the research, picked out, and built from scratch; all I did was pay for it) is averaging a balmy temperature of around 33 degrees Celsius -- which, for a 3 GHz Pentium 4 that internet reviewers were saying would run hot, is apparently pretty good (I write like I know what the hell I'm talking about, but we all know I don't). Joe credits my sexy Antec case for this phenomenon and likes to remind me what a good investment it was.

Joe would also like to say that McAfee Viruscan plus Personal Firewall is a good investment. "Look how many people it blocked," he says. Twenty-seven in one hour. And it turns out my old computer had four viruses on it.

Overall, I likes it. :) Just have a few more programs to dig up and install and files to situate. And a printer to buy. But tonight, since Joe has work to do, I will be using it to play my Sims game, which runs so beautifully on it, I don't know how I ever played it on the old machine. Funny how that works.

And of course Joe would like to see the temperature after I've been playing The Sims for a couple of hours. ;)
