And no, they're probably not really all that interesting... before you get too excited. ;)
1. I have decided, again, that if I were not stuck making an actual living, I would like to write. Getting my master's in writing sounds nice. Taking a year off just to write sounds nice. Writing anything at all sounds nice. Unfortunately, by the time I get home from my meaningless job each day, I head straight for The Sims 2, and don't write. So, I don't think much progress is going to be made on this dream in the very near future.
On the other hand, among other things that I have used to fill my empty work time of late, I did character profiles for the main characters in the short story that I plan to rewrite (eventually). That was fun.
2. Today I played Scrabble online. Previously I had not played Scrabble online in over a year. I won my first game, and came from behind to tie the second. So as it turns out, even having not played in seventeen months or so, I don't suck. That made me very happy. I was expecting to get creamed. ;)
3. I have decided, again, what music I want for the processional on my wedding day. (Subject to change at any time between now and the day I get married.) On the bright side, this is the only thing I still fantasize about, as far as weddings go. The music, I mean. I've decided I really don't care about any of the rest of it. I consider this to be progress.
4. There are a great number of people who are very bad at making up Sims 2 story albums. If I ever post one, I promise it will be good. Or at least funny.
5. I was very pleased last night when little Sim-Leslie brought a friend home from school and it happened to be Sim-Joe. It will make it easier for me to get them together later.
6. It has taken me so much self-control NOT to post sarcastic comments on Locke's board, in response to the post saying how people who believe in religion are delusional. I mean, every fiber of my being at times. I even considered making a new account, just so I could post, and no one would know it was me. But, I haven't. ;) If I can remember them later, maybe I'll stick them in here, just to get it out of my system.
7. I'm feeling very silly today. :D
8. I want a Schnoodle. Just when people ask "What kind of dog is that?" I can say, "It's a Schnoodle!" Come on, say it with me. Schnoodle. I think the only other comparable one is Labradoodle... but that just sounds silly.
I'm sure there is more, but alas it is time to skedaddle. (Skedaddle - another excellent word.)
