Hmm.

Well, I'm not upset. Life is never perfect. It's not a big deal. It IS a reasonably good excuse. "Snow" would have been slightly more understandable, but whatever. Different priorities. I'm glad I have a job that I can leave at work though. That's the way I operate. I'm not ambitious. I mean, okay, to a certain extent I'm ambitious. I just have different priorities. Certain things take precedence.

Whatever.

I'm not upset.

*blows raspberries*

*waves hands*

HA. :)

See?

Tonight's gonna be great, regardless, and I totally can't wait to get out of here and cook up the spaghetti and see who shows up, if anyone. ;) Cuz it IS snowing out, I heard from one station that the southern tier might get up to a foot. Although none of the weather people really know what's going on. ;) But anyway, if it is snowy then people might want to stay home and that is totally understandable. My Joe will be there (barring extreme circumstances... but knowing him, he'd come anyway). ;) So even if it ends up being just me and Joe and the cat (can't forget the cat!) it's still going to be a GREAT night. :D

Anyway, thinking positively again, I'm going to assume that everybody will be there INCLUDING Locke, because there is plenty of time for the website to realize it's NOT going down, and besides, it looked fine to me (but what do I know!). ;) And if he doesn't make it, Joe and Adam and Lisa and Jeffy and Jon will still be there. :) And we will celebrate the end of Joe's (and Adam's and Lisa's and Jeffy's, but most importantly Joe's... I'm biased ;) ) semester over spaghetti and crusty good bread and maybe some Oreos and/or candy for dessert. :) The sauce is all made and waiting patiently in the fridge... WITHOUT mushrooms, much to the joy of Adam and Jeffy. My apartment is spic and span, at least it was this morning... no doubt by now there is cat litter all over the bathroom again. ;) And my tree is all decorated and lovely! We got all my ornaments up last night, and the lights are no longer blinking, and Joe even lifted me up on his shoulders to situate the angel just right on top. :) So if you ignore the fact that it leans slightly to one side, and there are no ornaments on the lower 2 feet or so of branches... it's quite beautiful. :) We turned off all the lights in the apartment except for the tree and just basked in its glow for a little while last night. :)

Hehehe, I seem to have gotten a little off-topic. ;) At any rate, I'm still really excited about tonight... and that's really all you need to know! :D

Ooooh, and it looks like I have a project coming. Ooooh, and it looks like a good one, too. I get to go play with HTML and stuff. AND make use of my brand-new catalog thingy. Yum.

*flashback to "The Two Towers" about a year ago*

Yum...

*giggle*

I hope Joe's test goes without a hitch this afternoon so he can hop on at 3:30 or so with happy news and good feelings. I hope the Christmas tree is still standing, ornaments intact, when I get home. I hope people are able to make it over for spaghetti this evening. I hope the sauce is as good as I think it will be. :) I hope the cat isn't too much of a pain in the butt. I hope the movie is good. I hope I don't fall asleep in the middle of it. I hope that however the night actually transpires, it is GREAT, like I've been planning on. :)

*contented sigh*

Oh look, it's lunchtime. :D
