I never seem to write about things I intend to write about in here. For example, I was going to write about Molly's wedding... but, I haven't. Last Thursday was Joe's and my six-month anniversary... I actually had most of that post written out but then the blackout destroyed half of it... it was just me reminiscing in detail about the days leading up to Valentine's Day anyway, so nothing really profound or anything. I was going to try finishing it today but the moment is lost. The trick to these blog things is to get down what's on my mind at a particular time... saving a post to finish later never works. You can't quite get back the feelings you had when you started writing. So you've gotta get it all out in one sitting.

On my mind at present:

Yesterday Joe brought me to the Erie County Fair for my first time ever, and it was an awesome day. A little bumpy at times. ;) But overall, AWESOME. :) We wandered through the buildings, ate maple sugar candy, narrowly avoided being sprayed by a cow, petted a zebu, learned how to bathe a chicken, cheered on our racing pigs (Porky, Drew Bledsow, and Sarah Jessica Porker, all of whom won their races if I remember right!), saw a couple of horny tigers (well, they were :P) and a two-week-old tiger cub (everybody: AWWWWWW), played a couple of games, stole I Got It balls, rode the Rainbow with our arms up in the air, chased each other in bumper cars, kissed on the carousel, got the best seats in the house for the Chinese Acrobats, ate Chiavetta's chicken (mmmmmm), watched the hypnotist turn ordinary people into fools (microphone! :D), rode the Ferris Wheel after dark, and found a $20 bill on the ground on the way home (I put that in because it was just a really cool bit of luck!). Oh, and it was the first time somebody ever won me a prize on the midway! :) *happy sigh* We have so much fun together sometimes. It's cool that we can spend an entire day at the fair (and I mean 12 hours from start to finish) and not get bored, not get tired of each other, just wander around and have a total blast... even when things DO cost a fortune, and my camera battery dies, and I have to run to the bathroom every five minutes, and the lady at the Fun House won't let me in with open-toed shoes. ;) Hmm... when I put it that way it looks like I was a big pain in the butt... yet somehow we managed to have fun in spite of me. :) Life is really cool when it gets right on down to it... you just have to not let little things bog you down. It helps having somebody there with you reminding you just how cool it all is. :) So thanks Joe, for being there and sharing your fair with me and not getting totally sick of me hanging around. Thanks for an amazing weekend. :)

That Joe... that boyfriend of mine. Perfect. :) Absolutely perfect. What's he doing with messed-up little me and all my silly issues? *clueless* I'm a lucky girl. :)

*hands out vomit bags to all readers*

In closing, I would like to publicly thank God for blessing me with Joe. Thanks God. He's amazing... nice work. :D

I love you Joe.

*you may all proceed to vomit as needed*

And we now return to our regularly scheduled programming. :)

(As a side note... this was not what I actually intended to write about now... but the other stuff can wait, because I'm sure I'll be thinking about it tomorrow, and right now I'm just too darn happy to want to bother with it.) :*
