Happy Friday everyone! I know it is for me!!! :) I just wish it would move along a little faster. :P When Joe left last night he said "Work hard tomorrow, that'll make the day go by faster." He was right of course, but the problem is that it's just past 9 and I'm already done with all my work! ;)
I need to hurry up and pick up some server space for my new website. I have so many plans for it. :) But I can't do much until I have server space with PHP... since all the cool stuff requires PHP... :) I was thinking yesterday, maybe I'll make different site "skins"... I saw that on somebody's site one time and it was really cool, you could pick from like 10 different skins and it would change all the colors and graphics on the page. :) That would be down the road a bit though, if I do it at all. First things I want to do are Scribbles and Photo Album, and I want both of those to be dynamic, so that once the page is built, all I have to do is upload the files as I please, and the index would update itself. That would be REALLY cool. :) Plus you'll notice I'm planning on starting up the guestbook again... that's been gone for almost a year. I'm not totally sure what else I want to do with peachsummer, if anything... it's a personal site after all, so I want to keep it that way. But I have some ideas for other sites in the works... the Bachman family genealogy site for one, I never did get very far with that but now that I've got more experience, it has SO much potential! Plus the suggestion had come up in the past, for a creative writing website for the school, where people could come and post their work and get feedback on it, among other things. I just learned how to do file uploads so that's sounding cool to me too. :P
But first thing's first... gotta get paid, then get space, and then get peachsummer up and running. On the bright side, at least the blog is done. ;) But I'm so excited to get started on everything else that I can hardly stand it!! :D At the least, it would give me something to work on while I'm at work and don't have a project to do (like now). :)
I love PHP. I love my job because of that. ;) I love my life. I love my Joe. I love everybody. Well, mostly. ;) I'm just way too happy at the moment. :D
Only seven hours to go until I'm out of here... let's hope I can find something to make the day go by! ;)
