Whew. It was a long night. Procrastination, homework, bridal-shower-related exasperation. Etcetera. Oh, and I bit off one of my nails. :( Luckily I got MOST of the work done... you know... the stuff I actually know how to do. Maybe I should have spent more time taking notes during Computation, rather than learning the state capitals. ;) Ah well. On the bright side... I'm not really sure the other two people in the class know what's going on either. And the book, from what little I have looked at it, does not seem to be helpful. Oh, that it would have been a Chan class... *sighs deeply* :) On the bright side though, I did get my other assignment done, and part of it was even FUN! *gasp* Files and Databases? FUN?? Well, kinda... I like building trees, and one of the problems was to build a B-tree from input they gave. Mindless entertainment. I quite enjoyed myself.

I'm a bit bothered this morning because I realized I am missing my cross, which puts a small damper on my spirits. I have no idea where it is... I think it must be home in Caz somewhere. I haven't worn it since Friday morning, but I miss it so I hope I find it. :/ It was a sixteenth birthday present from my parents, silver cross on a leather cord with a tiny gold ring on it that says "True Love Waits". It made it all the way through a week on a cruise ship so I can't believe I lost it now... *furrows brow* I guess I'll have to ask the parents if they've seen it.

Ah well. I'm not really in that bad of a mood. Taking a nice hot shower and then taking the time to make myself look nice today made me feel quite a bit better, believe it or not. Showers are good for daydreaming. I was thinking about: names that sound good with John; other names that I like; whether I'd want to plan my own bridal shower and save the bridesmaids the exasperation; fun surprises; but mostly, how much I am looking forward to our Phantom of the Opera date next Friday! I really can't wait. :)

I am looking forward to the rest of my day too. We are going to watch another hockey game (last of the season!). ;) Plus it's gorgeous outside. That always helps!
