Hmm, been a few days hasn't it? :) A TON of things have happened too, I can hardly even believe it. Like first of all, Friday morning I'm finishing up some homework, sitting around waiting for time to pass and all of a sudden I get this email... "We received your messages and tried calling you back. Would you still be willing to stop by for an interview?" WOULD I?!?!?! I called the guy and next thing I knew I had an interview lined up for 3:30 that afternoon! So I hang up the phone and then all of a sudden I'm like HOLY CRAP, I have an INTERVIEW in four and a half hours! After I'd spent the whole week getting over the letdown of not having heard back from them. I was totally unprepared. Luckily though... I had moral support. ;) What the hell, I had to blow off my classes in order to make the interview on time anyway, so I headed up to Hamburg to allow myself to be calmed down. :)

The interview itself, despite being a bit scary, wasn't really too terrible. I honestly have absolutely no idea how I did. I had to talk to all three "principals" of the company. I think I screwed up with the first guy because I was still nervous, had no idea what to expect, wasn't prepared for some of the questions he asked me, etc. Not sure about the second guy either. He had walked me around the building when I first arrived and seemed really nice, but he didn't smile the whole time he was questioning me, and that didn't really make for a comfortable environment. Also I was going on and on for awhile about how cool I think PhP is and then he goes "Well, here we mostly use ASP." OOPS. Open mouth, insert foot... ah well. I still think PhP is cool! By the time the third guy came in I was feeling much more relaxed (I mean by then I'd effectively been through two interviews). He was really nice and smiled a lot and showed me something cool on the computer and just seemed really relaxed and friendly. When I left he even gave me directions to get back to the Thruway (since I was heading straight to Syracuse at that point). So I think I did pretty well when I was talking to him, but I'm so unsure about the first two that on the whole I can't really say how it went. On the bright side though: I've now had my first interview, so next time around I know what to expect, and hopefully I can prepare a little bit and it will go more smoothly.

So yeah... and that was just Friday afternoon!! :) That was followed by a long but nice car ride home, and then a completely awesome weekend. My friend Amanda got married Saturday so of course I had my date accompany me home for the weekend. ;) So he got to meet all sorts of people: my family, my 'kids', both my pastors, people from church, the cat, etc, plus drive all around my hometown and see what little there is to see (and he can now tell Jon and Ray that YES, we do have a McDonald's in Cazenovia). :) And Amanda of course, although naturally we didn't get to spend a huge amount of time with her, seeing as how it was her wedding! But we had some good food and then danced like loonies, and it was great. :)

One last note regarding the wedding: Joe looks hot in a suit. *drool* :D

Sunday it snowed. I mean Syracuse literally had like 6 inches by the time we left for Buffalo again. LUCKILY Buffalo DIDN'T have snow. It was cold, but not snowy. At least not on Sunday. It snowed on Monday but didn't stick (thank you Lord).

Yesterday was a good day, although there was a dent in the goodness due to the rough weekend that was had by a couple of friends of mine. :/ But for me it was pretty awesome. I got an invitation to join the Math Honor Society, which I thought was rather cool, especially since I'm not even a math major! It costs $20 to join but I get to wear special cords at graduation. :D (Yeah, we all know what's really important!) I also had actual mail waiting for me when I got home! First was an invitation to Molly's bridal shower. (Note to me: get cracking on preparations for Molly's bridal shower.) Next was a letter from school saying that I didn't win the Presidential Prize. :/ They sent me a lovely certificate for being nominated... but somehow that just isn't as cool as a $2500 check... ;) And I also got a gift from Pastor Betty! That was a surprise! She sent me a copy of the book that she read from in church last week, that has the cool quotes by John Wesley. That totally made my day. :) Hopefully I can go through it tonight some more, depending on how much work I get done this afternoon, but as long as I quit typing here soon I should be able to finish everything I aspire to finish today (all of which is homework). It'll be good to have it done too, so I can relax tomorrow afternoon and enjoy a hockey game. ;)

ANYWAY..... this is hugely long, but it's been a hugely great past few days and I just wanted to share it with everyone! And I still have some hugely great things to look forward to in the upcoming weeks! :D I am a spoiled, blessed, lucky girl. Wow. Sometimes it's great to be me!
