Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day! I've got a beautiful feeling everything's going my way!

To sum up Phantom 'Friday' in one line:

A more interesting summary:

I got to sleep in a bit on Friday morning, not having to tutor at 10 like I usually do, so I didn't actually have to be at school until 1. I woke up before my alarm went off, peeked out the window... and the sun was shining! The sky was blue with some clouds and it was looking very promising... although it could have been snowing and I still would have been deliriously happy. :) I got up and actually had breakfast, took a nice looooooong, hot shower, scampered off to school for class, took an exam, and practically flat-out ran out of combinatorics at 2:50 to make my hair appointment at 3. Didn't quite get there on time, but I was only about five minutes late. :) I think the hair dresser probably thought I was an idiot because I didn't really know what I wanted done (having never had my hair professionally done before!), but she did an awesome job and although it took longer than I had hoped, it cost less than I was expecting, and besides I looked gorgeous. O:) So it was worth it, even though I didn't get home to change until 4:20 (and Joe was supposed to come at 4:30). I threw the rest of myself together -- the red dress, new earrings, silver bracelet and sparkly necklace, plus 'smell-pretty' and I was ready to go.

And then there he was, with roses in hand (three white, one red), looking just incredible. Mmmmm. *wafts away on a memory cloud* Seriously folks, the feelings I had... it was practically my first Christmas Cotillion all over again. Of course you have no idea what I mean. But... yeah. :) We headed over to Locke's for pictures, so we can always remember how utterly fantastic we looked for our utterly fantastic night. :)

Dinner was delicious, the show was wonderful, Joe was his usual handsome charming incredible self, and I felt (and looked!) like a princess. It was a fun and romantic evening that I will always remember, and I don't think either of us wanted it to end.

So it didn't. Until Sunday morning. ;)

So many more things I could say, so many more things that I felt that I can't put into words. So I guess I won't try to right here. I'll just say that I am the luckiest girl in the world... and leave it at that!
