Hurray for the movies of my childhood! An American Tail remains one of my favorite movies of all time. :) This is the first movie I was ever obsessed with. It also has the distinction of being the first movie I ever saw twice at the movie theater. I had the sheets, the pajamas, the cute little shirts, and the stuffed animal backpack (foreshadowing The Cow!). I stole the video from my parents when I went to college. ;) But it's been watched so many times I know I'm going to have to replace it. The song "Somewhere Out There" is in my list of all-time favorite songs. I even have the sheet music for it. I played it at my very last piano recital ever. :) I'd love to get an original movie poster from this movie but I think it would end up rolled up in my closet with all the rest of my movie posters. :P



But as usual I digress. :) As of this morning I'm feeling a need to watch Fievel Mousekewitz and sing and eat ice cream. Or even without the ice cream. :) I just want to watch the movie again!
