So... it's my birthday today! I was just poking through the archives and noticed that the past 2 years, my birthday blogging has been rather melancholy. Two years ago I was at work and depressed about it; last year I had a semi-worthless doctor appointment and ended the night by locking my keys in my car.
Today is a different kind of day. Yes, I am at work, and there are annoying things that come along with that. But overall I am actually feeling upbeat about work lately, so today it is not bothering me. (Also, today was Birthday Club at work, which we have once a month to celebrate all the birthdays and eat goodies, and since it is my actual birthday today, I got to be the first one in line. :-)) Yes, I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but it is a good kind of appointment where I will get to listen to my baby's heartbeat. I might be coming down with a cold, but I'm still looking forward to spending this evening with my husband and doing... whatever it is he has planned, which he wouldn't tell me. And we all know I love surprises! :)
So today I am 26 years old, and feeling like that is something to celebrate!
