I can tell we're getting close because I'm starting to worry about really stupid, pointless things. Luckily my level-headed practical fiance has helped me out a lot in that regard. Yesterday he ordered our cakes. Come hungry because you're going to want to try all four flavors. :-D Yum! I think all we have left to purchase are the favors and Joe's ring. And a few odds and ends, I'm sure.
My mind is starting to jump ahead to figuring out the logistics of that weekend. When everyone is coming, what plans to make so we can all hang out together. Where I'm going to stay the night before the wedding, who will set up for the reception, how the day will flow. These are important details you know. ;-) I'm also realizing that moving day is coming sooner than later, and at some point I'm going to have to start boxing up everything I own and transferring it over to Joe's. Still, one thing at a time!
Our invitations are finally in, and they look completely awesome. I should have started addressing them last weekend, but alas haven't gotten around to it yet. I did bring the box to work with me so I can start them on my lunch hour today. The goal is to mail them out sometime next week. Also I keep wanting to add people to the guest list, which complicates things. We'll see I guess.
My first shower is 2 1/2 weeks away, and I can't wait. :-) Joe's mom is hosting this one and she seems just as excited about it as I am. My mom (and Molly?) will be coming out. Yay!
Hehe, and one fun little tidbit about not having a registry: Molly informed me last week that she had gotten me a gift... and I have absolutely no idea what it could be. I LOVE that feeling. :-)
