2. Vehicular Alteration
Time to say goodbye to the faithful Focus Pimp.
Ironically, I replaced it with a Focus. :P
My new car has an mp3 player. It also has power windows and door locks. And... I like the power features. This makes me a hypocrite. When the power windows stop working, and I have to duct tape them shut and open my door at tollbooths, I will bang my head against the glass and say quietly, regretfully to myself, "I told you so, but you didn't listen." Unless the car is still under warranty at that point, in which case the dealer will fix it and I won't have to pay. But anyway, until then I shall indulge in guilty pleasure and enjoy my power features. I am a terrible sinner...
Oh, and it also has a trunk release button. This is a feature my mom has wanted on her cars for YEARS. She will have to live vicariously through me.
3. Baby Love
Sean and Emily are now the proud parents of a baby boy! His name is Gregory Joseph, born February 24, 8lbs 8oz, 20in. Congratulations! They also have a little girl, Katherine, who is 17 months... for those who didn't know. :)
And no, the pictures are NOT of little Gregory. I haven't even seen him yet. The pictures are of me. ;) Hey I needed something to illustrate the baby announcement. :P
4. Creativity
Over the weekend I sat down and wrote. Two pages. It's crap, but it's a start. No picture for this because taking a picture of words is pretty stupid. :P I'd give you an excerpt but it sucks. ;) I think things will improve when I have a better sense of the characters and plot points. Right now it's a rewrite of an old story, which is harder than I thought it would be, but I have more of an idea how I want to develop the characters. I wouldn't mind writing something totally new but unfortunately I don't have any ideas. :P
