*growl*
*sigh*
*grumble*
*kicks random imaginary rock*
*stubs toe*
Plusses:
- toothache mostly gone
- I managed not to die, and stuck it out through work today
- only another hour till home
- I get to see my sweetie tonight
Minuses:
- toothache (even though it's past)
- near-fainting spell (also past... I hate those :( )
- possibly still have a low-grade fever :(
- being sick but not THAT sick... I'd rather be either FINE or totally out of commission
- I am a really whiny, pitiful sick person
- possibly having gotten Joe sick
- making Locke sad (and it's not my freaking fault, it's just the way life is sometimes :P)
- money does not grow on trees
Bah. Humbug.
I wanna be in a good mood. :(

The Good Mood Part Begins Here
So, it is Friday! AND, it is Halloween! :) And Locke is having a party! Which I may or may not attend... I don't feel too bad though, and I do WANT to go, especially if Adam is coming with his mysterious "extraordinarily awesome" Lisa, whom I should know, and yet cannot place. :) It would be good to see people, and fun to play games and hang out. Of course, it's a costume party and we don't have costumes. :P Well, I have a pink feather boa and have been telling people I am a flamingo. ;) Unfortunately they haven't seemed to find it as funny as I thought it would be. Maybe I should have tried to make the mask... no matter though. Dressing up for Halloween is fun but costumes are expensive and not in the budget, and there just wasn't the time to try and make one. So, maybe next year. ;)
Party, or no party... well, either way it's going to be a fun night! Joe's coming over and he makes everything fun. :D
So then, tomorrow! Joe has the day off! *cheers* He's getting his car inspected in the morning, and our plans are something along the lines of: shopping for baby gifts for Sean and Emily, visiting Sean and Emily and baby Kathrine, and going to see "Brother Bear". Shopping I think will be fun... we attempted to baby-shop together a few months ago, for Tim and Cathy, but that was a miserable failure since at that point I'd never met them so I had no idea what they'd want. :P Sean and Em I at least know a little better. ;) Hmm... come to think of it... when we tried shopping for Tim and Cathy it was the first weekend in March... as in... at that point, Joe and I didn't know each OTHER quite as well as we do now... hehehe, maybe that had something to do with it! Anyhow, I think shopping will be fun, so I hope it is! :) Unfortunately I think I should probably skip out on the visit itself, since I have been sick and we don't want my germs around a newborn! :/ But, it's okay... she'll be around for awhile... I will see them at some point! I hope Joe didn't catch whatever I had (have?) because I know he really wants to see them! It's more important to get him over there than me anyway. ;) I will stay home and find something humungously entertaining to do. Maybe I will make a tunnel out of paper bags for the cat. :)
And then! Movie night! :) "Brother Bear" is the new Disney animated movie, in case you didn't know. Also, in case you didn't know, it is tradition for me to see the new Disney movies on the day they come out (this doesn't apply to the Disney/Pixar ones, or at least, it didn't until this year). ;) Last year, 2002, was an off-year for it. There were TWO new animated flicks, and I missed both! :( "Lilo and Stitch" was entirely Ryan's fault. :P It came out on the day we were driving back to Caz to catch graduations... he had neglected to tell me his brother was graduating THAT NIGHT. (He denied this, but I know me, and I would NOT have forgotten, I would have planned ahead to make sure we could do both. :P) Needless to say I was a bit ticked off. :P It's not a BIG deal... it was just the first time in... umm... when did "Pocahontas" come out?... 1995, according to IMDB... okay, so, it was the first time in seven years that I MISSED the opening day. So yeah... to a girl who puts a lot of stock in traditions, even silly ones, it was annoying. I still got to see it the first weekend (and def had more fun than if I'd gone with Ry anyway), but it was the principle of the thing. :P "Treasure Planet" came out at Thanksgiving last year, but we are exempted from that one due to circumstances out of my control. We were supposed to see it with Molly and Grant, and Molly had a seizure. :( So, yeah. Still saw it in the theater, just not the first day... there are more important things than movies! :) Anyway, tomorrow, unless I'm dying, I'm going to see "Brother Bear", and get back in the pattern again. :) And then Sunday, no football game (boo!) but there will be Confirmation at 5:00 Mass, so the Bishop is going to be there, and I think that will be really neat to see. :)
So, yeah... weekend's looking good, 20 min till I get to leave, and I have successfully managed to cheer myself up! YAY! :) And my sweet is online! QUINTUPLE YAY!!!!
I'm out. ;)
