Things that made me happy today:

1. I got to sleep in until 2. I missed 6 hours that I would have been paid for, but the sleep was just what I needed.

2. I found out we are having Thanksgiving at my house this year. No smelling like smoke! :)

3. I spent all afternoon (and evening for that matter) listening to Christmas music. Yes, I'm one of those firm believers that "Christmas comes after Thanksgiving"; however, when you're feeling sick, it really is therapeutic. I mean, how can you be grouchy when you're listening to such joyful music?

4. I have an awesome boyfriend. I know I complain about him a lot, but really, he is pretty awesome.




Things that pissed me off today:

1. I found out that the reason Nelnet has been calling is because they think I haven't paid them my last two payments. When in fact I did pay them, according to my bank statement both checks were cashed. Grr.

2. I hate my short-short story that I handed in for class. I mean I despise it. Which is my own fault for putting it off till the last minute, but really, I was embarrassed to hand it in. I know I can do better than that.

3. Being sick, in general, is no fun. But in that regard... well, it could have been a lot worse.
